Rules and Regulations
- For students carrying packed lunches, parents are requested to send a nutritious & healthy food with napkin to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Silence must be observed during the class hours when moving from one class to another.
- Use of cell phones or other electronic gadgets is prohibited in the school premises. Cell phone will be confiscated if found in the possession of a student.
- Chewing gum is strictly prohibited in school premises.
- It is forbidden to buy eatables from street vendors.
- Students are expected and required to keep the school clean and respect school property. The cost of any intentional damage caused to the school property will be paid by the parents.
- Student’s behavior reflects the school’s philosophy. They are therefore expected to be well behaved and courteous all times, showing sensitivity and respect to one and all.
- Punctuality: Getting the students to the school/bus stop on time is responsibility of the parent. Hence parents need to inculcate the value of punctuality in the child from a very early age.
- Students are expected to maintain a high standard in their general behavior and manner of speech. Improper behavior and language will not be accepted.
- English being the medium of instruction in the school, students are advised to speak in English, in order to maintain a suitable level of spoken and written English.
- Students are not allowed to come in self-driven vehicles.
- All gates for entry to students shall close 5 minutes before the school time.
- 90 percent of attendance in an academic year is a pre-requisite for promotion to the next grade. The school reserves the right to withhold the promotion in case of failure to adhere to the above.
- The school seeks complete co-operation from parents to ensure regular attendance of the students.
- Leave taken just before the commencement of school assessments will not be condoned except on duly certified medical grounds.
- A student will not be allowed any kind of leave except on medical grounds. Norms of quarantine are to be followed for diseases like chicken pox, measles, mumps, whooping cough etc.
- No child will be permitted to leave the school premises on the basis of verbal communication.
- Three month’s notice in writing or a term’s fee in lieu of such notice has to be given to take the Transfer Certificate.
- Transfer Certificate is not issued until all the dues of the school are settled.
- The school can ask a student to leave on the following grounds – Indiscipline, Repeated fee defaulters, insufficient attendance.
